Tegan Emerson

Tegan Emerson is a ceramic artist, creating highly textured forms and surfaces inspired by organic coral architecture, deep-sea life, and deep-time geological forms, as well as the dualism of build-up and erosion. The logo for her ceramics practice embodies these themes with flowing typography that reflects the intricate textures of her work. Inspired by 19th-century lettering from The Shadow of Death by S.E. Stenbock, the design features undulating forms that evoke geological formations and marine environments, creating a visual connection to Tegan's artistic philosophy.

“Working with Doing Me Doing You truly exceeded my expectations! Emma was able to clearly communicate a timeline with deadlines and expectations of each stage of the process and was able to work towards a deadline on time, taking on any feedback along the way. I would recommend Doing Me Doing You to friends (and have!) as I'm able to say confidently that Emma has an understanding for creative brands and how to visualise a language and individual voice through graphic design and fonts. I came away with a wordmark logo that I feel represents my name and creative work. I often look at the logo that Emma created for me as a grounding tool to remind myself of the work that I want to make, if I ever stray too far with experimentation in my work and question what I’m making.” Tegan Emerson
